Warren Dale Shook passed away on April 4, 2021 at the age of 91. He was born August 16, 1929 in Gracemont, Oklahoma to Iris Liticker Shook and Benjamin G. Shook. He attended Lacrose School in Caddo County through the sixth grade. He moved to Tuttle in 1941 attending Waldon School until graduating Tuttle High School in 1947. After graduation, he began farming with his parents and also served in the Naval Reserves for seven years. A friend of Warren's introduced him to Joy Bradley in July of 1954. They went on a double date playing miniature golf and it was love at first sight. Warren and Joy married on June 24, 1955 in Oklahoma City by the same pastor that baptized Joy. Warren and Joy began farming at Amber, Oklahoma and in the Tuttle area. They bought the Jack McComas dairy farm in 1971 and milked cows until 1975. The Lord blessed them with their daughter, Suzanne and husband Stanley; son Tim; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Warren was a man of faith who loved teaching Sunday school and singing in the choir. He was a true farmer at heart and was happiest working with his hands.
