Born Vicki Lynn Evans in Boston, MA on April 19th, 1951, her family moved to Oklahoma when she was two years old. Vicki attended Classen High School in Oklahoma City and went on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in biology from Oklahoma City University and a master’s degree in Zoology from the University of Oklahoma. She worked as an educator, scientist, and clinical consultant in healthcare.
Vicki was a source of light and love for everyone she knew. She was always positive and loving, becoming the rock of the family as a mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a trusted caregiver for family members and close friends. She traveled often and loved being near the ocean. Vicki loved being in nature and preserving nature’s beautiful gifts. She was often described as caring, loving, and generous. Vicki’s huge heart was always open and giving to all.
Vicki leaves behind four sisters, Linda, Diane, Karen and Janet and two brothers, Charles and David, a daughter, Mary and two grandchildren, Eva (3) and Zoe (6 months) along with her stepchildren, Jennifer and Christopher and their respective children. Vicki also cared deeply for the Moreno family and many loved ones she considered family.
A favorite quote of Vicki’s is from Mother Theresa:
“I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”
A Celebration of Life in honor of Vicki Lynn Randolph will be held in person and virtually on November 30th, 2024. Please contact Mary or Diane to RSVP.
We would be honored if you considered giving in Vicki’s memory to Farmers Footprint (https://farmersfootprint.us/give/) or a favorite charity of your choice in her name.
With love,
The Randolph and Evans families
