Colonel (Ret) Terry Raison, 81 years old, passed away peacefully March 31, 2021 at his home with his wife by his side. He was a decorated veteran who served as a Titan II missile officer in the 1960s. He spent another 33 years in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard. His last two Oklahoma Air National Guard positions were Commander of the 205th Engineering Installation Squadron then Commander of the 137th Support Group.
William Terry Raison was born February 27, 1940 in Newark, Ohio to Edward Loyd Raison and Laverna (Fleming) Raison. He married the love of his life, Debbie on September 17, 1988 in Norman, OK. He has two sons Kevin and Ed. He enjoyed woodworking, cycling, writing, exercising, and drama. He also volunteered fourteen years at Norman Regional Health System. He had a wonderful sense of humor no matter what stage of life he was in and carried it to the very end.
He was supportive of his nieces and nephews and they loved him very much. He enjoyed attending their events, creating woodwork, and other fun projects and activities.
He is survived by his wife Debbie (Callahan) Raison of the home; two sons, Kevin Raison of Seattle, WA and Ed Raison of Northfield, MA; grandson, Gaige Pierce Raison of Seattle, WA; sister, Sue Slater of Columbia S.C.; mother-in-law, Jean Callahan of Norman, OK; sister-in-law, Kelly Callahan of Norman, OK; brother and sister-in-law, George and Valerie Callahan of Bozeman, MT; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
