Stephanie Wakeman

Stephanie Wakeman passed away at her home on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at the age of 64. She was born in Bronx, New York, on November 3, 1952 to Jack and Violet Moshman (Steinbach).

She grew up in Lindenhurst, New York. Stephanie married Kenneth Wakeman on February 8, 1976 and they moved to Oklahoma City in October 1976. They made their home in Yukon and then moved to Norman to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Stephanie enjoyed traveling with her husband before his passing. She was also an avid collector of Precious Moments. Stephanie found joy in helping others that lived within her retirement community.

She is survived by her son Vincent and wife Kim, daughter Carrie Clark and husband Derek; step-son Dana and wife Laurie, brother Gary Moshman and wife Kathy, brother Doug Moshman, and six grand-children. Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and parents Jack and Violet.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. at the Rotary House in Norman, OK.
