Stanley Gerald Williams

Stanley Gerald Williams, 63, was born to Norris Dale Williams and Jacqueline Parks in Norman, OK on December 27, 1951. He passed away in Oklahoma City on Monday, October 26, 2015 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Stan was a man of many interests and talents. He loved nature and the outdoors, especially bird watching and taking long sightseeing walks in the mountains around Las Vegas. He enjoyed boating and he and his wife of 27 years, Ronda (Kock) Williams, went to the beach at Lake Eufala every year for 22 years. Stan appreciated cars and motorcycles, in fact he was a member of the Corvette Club and the Motorcycle Touring Association. Stan was a talented musician and was the keyboardist for his rock and roll band, “The Band”. One of Stan’s favorite activities was playing with RC cars because it brought his family together.

Stan was preceded in death by his father N. Dale Williams and his step-father Raymond Corley. He is survived by: wife Ronda Williams; son Christopher Williams of Oklahoma City, OK; mother Jackie Corley Gill and husband Richard “Rick” of Norman; step-mother Averial (Rivers) Williams of Midwest City, OK; brothers Les Williams and wife Robin of Yukon, OK and Raymond Corley and wife Julie of Cincinatti, OH; sisters Lee Rose and husband John of Edmond, OK, Karen Stopper and husband Larry of Oregon City, OR, and Brenda Mechling and husband George of Midwest City, OK; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
