Sarah Elizabeth McLean

Cats, dogs, or people, she took in all the strays.

Sarah Elizabeth McLean left this earth surrounded by the love she fostered. An avid crafter, she often gifted loved ones with blankets, clothes, or other items made particularly for them. As an animal lover, she not only adopted every animal she possibly could, but always made room to lovingly care for her grandpets when needed and regularly donated to numerous animal causes.

When it came to family, no one loved more fiercely than she. Whether it was baking cookies for school bake sales, making costumes for performances, coaching ball teams, or attending activities, she was always there. Always present. Her home was always open to anyone who needed it. Countless came to know and love her as “Mamma Sarah.”

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ron; her children Rick Reid and spouse Janell, Tammie Fifer and spouse Larry, Mary Rockow and spouse Kenneth, Rhonda McLean, and Melanie Wilkinson and spouse Bryan Wilkinson; grandchildren Cassidy Skitt and spouse Tim, Dakota Reid, Misty Brown and spouse Dante, Robbie Fifer, Raymond Fifer, Desmon Fifer, Camden Fifer, James Fifer, McLean Wilkinson, and Ryann Wilkinson; and great grandchildren Isaiah Brown, Kyle Brown, Raylee Skitt, Teagan Skitt, and Landrie Skitt.

Donations to your favorite animal or child welfare organization in lieu of flowers is also welcomed.
