Roy Lee Pierce-Blackmore

Roy Lee Blackmore, age 67, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Medical Park West in Norman, Oklahoma.

 Roy was born January 03, 1957, in Columbus, Georgia, a son of Samuel H. Pierce Jr. and Lawana Lee (Torbett) Pierce. He enjoyed listening to rock music, motocross sports, and baseball. He made several trips overseas as a missionary and loved to travel he even skied in Switzerland. 

 He is survived by his mother, Lawana Blackmore; his sisters, Susan Gee and husband Tom, Jane Keylon and husband Don, and Viola Cobb and husband Kenny; his nieces and nephews, Max Patterson and Nathan Gardner, Andrew Patterson and Camille Patterson, James Patterson, and Nathan Keylon; his great nieces and nephews, Bryton, Maverick, Jade, and Violet.

 Roy is preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Samuel, his stepfather Elmer C. Blackmore, his sister Patricia Young, his brother-in-law Dennis Young, and his nephew DJ Young.
