Rev. Alvin Lee Garrison

Rev. Alvin L. Garrison was born March 9, 1920 in Elmer, Oklahoma to Hubert Lee and Vennie Elizabeth (Lane) Garrison. He departed this life on December 21, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the age of 98.

Alvin married Zona Lea Allen on July 8, 1939. Rev. Garrison received his degree from Oklahoma Baptist University. He served the Lord for 80 years as a Baptist Minister and will be remembered for his faithfulness.

Alvin is survived by: daughter Shirley Lykins and husband Rex of Newcastle, OK; granddaughter Jaime Conover and husband Rory of Newcastle, OK; and great-grandchildren Christian and Addison Conover. Alvin was preceded in death by his parents; wife Zona Lea; sister Edith Seay; and brothers Leon, Doyce, Clarence, and Norman Garrison.
