Ramona Mae Kring

Ramona Mae Kring was born December 16, 1928 to Frank W. Crawford and Frankie I. (Nall) Crawford in Henryetta, Oklahoma. She passed away peacefully at her home in Norman, Oklahoma on March 21, 2018.

Ramona was preceded in death by her husband Tearle Bruce (Terry), son Kevin Bruce, her parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Ramona is survived by her children: Terena Mae Kring (Lou Ann Long) of Omaha, Nebraska; Tris Anne Downer (Bruce) of Cortez, Colorado; Kyle Knight Kring II (Cristina) of Newcastle, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Tess, Brooke, Hunter, Taylor, Ann Marie and great-grandson Connor. She is also survived by brother Dale Crawford of Denton, TX; sisters Gail (Crawford) Bonebrake (Steve) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and Wanda Lee (Crawford) Schreiner of Norman, OK and many nieces and nephews.

Ramona’s early life was spent in and around Seminole in central Oklahoma until she moved to Midland, TX where she met and married Tearle on November 30, 1951. She lived the life of an Air Force officer’s wife and mother of four children. They traveled the world, living in many different places until retirement, settling in Norman in 1994.

Ramona will be interred at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
