Paul D. Quinn

     Shad was born on July 10, 1947, in Portland, Maine to parents Paul and Kathryn Quinn. The Quinn’s moved to Shawnee, Oklahoma soon thereafter where they lived until 1958 when the family moved to Oklahoma City. Shad attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School and Putnam City and Norman High Schools.

     He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Shad spent years in the hospitality industry where he was proud to own “Shad’s Place” for several years. He passed away on September 2, after a long series of health issues. He will be missed by his friends, including Troy, Richard, and Tosha.

     Mr. Quinn is survived by son, Shad Mac Hagan and his husband Daniel; brother Dan Quinn and his wife Marrae; sister Dianne Gilbert and her husband Mickey Rousch; nieces Katy Powers and husband Michael, Patty Thomason and husband Kelly; grandnephews and nieces Peyton, Sophie, Ella, Cole and Harrison.

A Celebration of Life for Shad will be from 2pm-4pm Wednesday, September 14th at Margarita Island, 8139 NW 10th Street Oklahoma City, OK 73127, for close friends and family.
