Patsy Gail Turner, loving mother, grandmother, nanny, sister, and aunt died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018. She was born May 5, 1935, in Roff, OK to Monroe Lawrence and Vada Elouise (Short) Turner.
Patsy was loved by all that knew her. She was a longtime resident of Okmulgee and member of Faith Baptist Church. Patsy was the oldest daughter of seven children. This large family is where she learned to be the loving wife and Mother she was, going on to teach her own children and grandchildren the meaning of unconditional love, faith in God, and good strong morals. Patsy raised eleven children and three grandchildren.
Patsy is survived by: son Larry Landress and wife Rosemary of Wynnewood; daughter Lyn Miles and husband Gerald of Okmulgee; daughter Joyce Royston and husband Tommy of Dibble; son Mike Cook and wife Terri of Okmulgee; son Pat Cook of Okmulgee; daughter Donna Cartwright of Paris, TX; daughter Dana Stoffer and husband Jimmy of Iowa Park, Texas; son Don Turner and wife Wendy of Wynnewood; son Del Turner and wife Diane of Okmulgee; brother Jimmy Turner and wife Alice of Macomb; sister Janis Blankenship and husband Paul of Pauls Valley; sister Sharon McCroy and husband James of Pottsboro, Texas; 35 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Patsy was preceded in death by: husband Donald Turner; son Gregg Cook; son Wayne Turner; great-grandson Jordan Johnson; great-granddaughter Ava Cook; parents Monroe and Vada Turner; and brothers, Archie, Elvin, and Melvin Turner.
