Nova Larue Winders was born March 1, 1938 in Reagan, Oklahoma to Dick and Marie Barrington. She passed away peacefully in Oklahoma City surrounded by her loved ones on September 23, 2020 and she wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. She married the love of her life, George Wesley Winders and they had two sons.
Nova made her career as a computer teacher for the FAA. She enjoyed many hobbies such as oil painting and flower gardening. She had the best times when she was with George, whether it be square dancing, traveling in the 5th wheel, or just plain family time.
Nova was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; George, her brother; Gary Barrington, her aunt; Betty Phillips, and her uncles; L.B. Phillips, and Jr. Clifton.
Nova leaves behind her sons; Richard Bruce Winders and wife Candy, and Robert Sean Winders and partner Josh, her brothers; James Barrington and wife Gloria, and David Barrington and wife Becky, her grandchildren; Christina Ferrell and husband Ramon, Dustin Ferrell and wife Jessy, and Jonathon Winders and wife Lindsay, and her great grandchildren; Brandon, Lilionna, Madilyn, Kaylee, Bo, Faraday, Willow, Delanie, Wade, Josey, Dalton, Cody, Benjamin and Eden.
We know that George was waiting for you, ready to catch up.
