Norma Ann (Stehr) Tice was born on September 11, 1938 to Emanuel and Martha (Gerner) Stehr in Clinton, Oklahoma. She passed at the age of 79 on July 2, 2018, surrounded by her family.
Norma married the love of her life, David “Dave” Tice, on February 7, 1958 in Oklahoma City. They enjoyed 53 years together until David’s passing in December of 2011. In the early days Norma attended and graduated from Draughon’s Business College before working outside the home. She later chose to stay home and raise her girls Tresa and Tiffany.
Norma was a devout member of the Lutheran Church, which played a large role in her life. She loved attending services, playing canasta with her church friends, and serving others any way that she could. In her spare time, Norma was an avid gardener, preferring to grow flowers, but raising vegetables as well. She loved children and would often babysit or tutor the neighborhood children.
Norma was preceded in death by: her husband Dave Tice; her parents; brother Lealon Stehr; and brother Calvin Stehr.
She is survived by: son Russ Tice and wife Karen of South Dakota; son Steven Tice and wife Traci of Tennessee; daughter Tiffany Sharp and husband Chad of Mustang; daughter Tresa Trice of Yukon; sister Charlene Ewing and husband Don of Edmond; brother Darrell Stehr and wife Judy of Clinton; six grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
