Neita Jo (Kuwitzky) Mccall

Neita Jo Kuwitzky McCall, 86, a lifelong resident of Norman died Thursday, July 13 following an extended illness. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Private family services will be scheduled for a later date.

She was born August 27, 1930 in Norman to Edward Vernon and Lela Mae (Pinkie) Kuwitzky. She attended school in Norman and graduated from Norman High School. She was also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She married Samuel K. McCall September 9, 1955. They made their home in Norman where they raised two children, Margo Loflin and Samuel (Skay) McCall.

Mrs. McCall was preceded in death by her parents, husband Samuel, and brother Scott Kuwitzky.

She is survived by: her children Margo Loflin of Norman and Samuel (Skay) McCall and his wife Cassandra; grandchildren David Loflin and his wife Beth of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan and Matthew Loflin and his wife Abbey of Norman; great-grandchildren Samuel Loflin and Oliver Loflin of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Rambling Oaks Assisted Living and Frontier Hospice for their loving care. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Food and Shelter for Friends in Norman.
