Cathy Hutchinson

It is with deep sorrow and loving memories that we announce the passing of Cathy Hutchinson on September 6, 2024. A cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Hood, and her husband, Jason Hood, as well as her three beloved grandchildren, Kayla, Nathan, and Alex Hood, who lovingly called her Meemaw. The story behind her endearing nickname is a testament to the special bond she shared with her family. She is also survived by her son, Craig Hutchinson, and his wife, Denise Hutchinson, and their daughters, Kadence and Karrigan Sober. Her sister, Margaret Cullins, and Joe Gil also survive her, as do her beloved pets, Wrigley and Cody Bear Hood, who brought her much joy and companionship.

Preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert Hutchinson, as well as her parents, Rita and Leo Dace, she now joins them in eternal rest.

A private memorial service will be held to honor her life and legacy. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time.
