Martin “Marty” Anthony Palazzolo of Norman was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 20, 1959 to Dominic Anthony and Eileen Margaret (Link) Palazzolo. He passed on August 31, 2016 at the age of 57.
Marty met the love of his life, Alice Elizabeth Seubert, at the University of Missouri. For their first date he took her for a walk in the woods, and the rest is history. They were married on August 16, 1986 in St. Louis. Marty made his living working for the Federal Government as an engineer in civil service, from which he retired in 2007 after 21 years. After retirement he went to work for Sam’s Club, where he worked right up to his passing.
Marty was a true people person. He never met a stranger and he was known for his great smile. He loved helping others. For fun Marty liked to put together electronic kits, watching Cardinals baseball, and watching movies with Alice.
Marty was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Secular Franciscan Order. He would like to be remembered for his devotion to his Faith.
Marty was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lynda Palazzolo. He is survived by: wife Alice of the home; brothers: Jere Palazzolo and wife Patricia of St. Louis and Karl Palazzolo and wife Erin of Minneapolis, MN; sisters: Victoria Power and husband Brian of St. Louis, Ruth Siragusa and husband Antonino, St. Louis, Jayne Dumais of Nashua, NH; RetaD’Alessandro and husband Leo of St. Louis, Margaret Love of St. Clair, MO, Eileen Lovan and husband Esco of St. Clair, MO; and twenty-one nieces and nephews.
