Mark Abram of Norman passed at the age of 43 on November 3, 2017. He was born to Tim and Pam (Stover) Abram on September 6, 1974 in Norman, Oklahoma. Mark was raised in Norman, graduating from Norman High School in 1993. He later attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated in 2001 with a BA in Architecture.
Mark worked at Architects in Partnership in Norman. He was a gifted artist with a creative mind and could sketch just about anything with a pad and a pencil. Mark’s proudest accomplishments were his artwork and the projects he worked on as an architect.
Mark was kind, generous, and well-liked by everyone who knew him. He loved his family and thoroughly enjoyed the trips they all took to Colorado when he was growing up. Mark loved the mountains and fishing for trout in the streams and lakes around Crested Butte. When he wasn’t working or fishing, Mark could be found painting or tinkering with all things mechanical.
Mark is survived by: parents Tim and Pam Abram of Norman; sister Julie Speer and husband Clay of Norman; nephew and niece Carson and Corynn Speer, both of Norman; grandmothers Joan Abram and Virginia Stover, both of Norman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Memorial donations in Mark’s name may be made to Red Rock Behavioral Health Services (900 E. Main, Norman, 73071/405.307.4800/red-rock.com).
