Maria Camille Ozment

Maria Camille Ozment passed away on May 6, 2024 in Norman at the age of 96. She was born March 7, 1928 in San Francisco, California, to Malcolm and Katherine Weeks. She attended school in Sebastopol, and later San Francisco State College, Stanford University, and University of Texas, El Paso. She completed thirty one years teaching in California, the American Dependents Schools in Germany, Texas, and eventually retired from Norman Public Schools after teaching first grade for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Lt. Col. Fred N. Ozment Jr, parents Malcolm and Katherine Weeks, sister Gloria Perillat, brother Ted Weeks and wife Shirley, and sister-in-law Berniece Brannon. She is survived by her son Matthew Grant and wife Elaine. She is also survived by all her pride and joy grandchildren, Katerina, Wyatt, Colleen, Luke, and Aiden Ozment. Services will be at held St. Thomas More University Parish Saturday, May 11th at 10:30 am
