Lateresa Sue Crook

November 1, 1954 — June 17, 2022

LaTeresa ‘Teresa’ Sue Crook passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at her home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She was born on November 1, 1954, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Teresa had a love for the outdoors, including gardening, fishing, boating, and nature in general. She never let a hummingbird feeder go empty! Some of the fondest family memories include trips to nearly all the national parks—she truly loved Colorado the most; Trail Ridge Road from Estes Park to Grand Lake, Colorado—she always said she “could nearly touch Heaven up there” and that is where she is now, in the arms of our Lord. She lived a very simple life and loved her family and four granddaughters so very much. She was a wonderful homemaker. She worked some of her life for the Diagnostics Laboratory of Oklahoma out of Oklahoma City as well as for the Wynnewood Refinery located in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her children, son Jeremy Crook and wife Maggie Crook of Oklahoma City, daughter Sara Crook of Norman, Oklahoma, sister LaDonna Gober of Newcastle, Oklahoma, brother Bill Ring-Saylor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and uncle Melvin “Lemmy” Hardeman” of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by her greatest pride and joy, her four granddaughters, Hadley Ann and Madeline Grace, daughters of Jeremy and Maggie, and Makenzie and Naomi, daughters of Sara Crook, as well as many other loved family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Elwanda Saylor, brother, Thirl Dean “Butchie” Saylor, sister LaJuana Ann Jacobsen, aunt Doris Lorette and many other loved and adored family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at Christ the King Catholic Church, located at 8005 Dorset Drive, Oklahoma City, OK 73120.
