Kristen Ramos

Ann Kristen Ramos of Norman passed away on November 20, 2018 at the age of 51 years. She was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on January 31, 1967 to Alan Thomas and Mildred Ann (Thompson) Montgomery.

Kristen grew up in Norman, attending Norman Public Schools and graduating from Norman High School in 1985. Following graduation Kristen continued living in Norman and began working in the Oklahoma City area.

Kristen enjoyed playing the piano and performed in many recitals. She loved many genres of music and frequently attended the Woody Guthrie Festival in Okemah. Kristen had a great sense of humor and liked to go camping with her “other” family.

Kristen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by: daughter Amber Kotzum and husband Michael of Oklahoma City; sons Tyler Alvarez of Norman and Tristan Ramos and wife Emily of Enid; grandchildren Brooke, Claire, and Chase Kotzum; and brother Kevin Montgomery of Norman.

A celebration of Kristen’s life will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 1st in the funeral home’s downstairs event center (708 24th Ave NW, 405.292.4787).
