Kenneth Howard Baker

February 5, 1945 — December 23, 2022

Kenneth “Ken” Howard Baker was born February 5, 1945, in Pipestone, Minnesota to Buster Baker and Mae (Rollefson) Baker. He passed away on December 23, 2022.

He served in the United States National Guard for four years and on October 29, 1983, Ken married the love of his life, Judy Beth Yarbrough and they had two sons: Dusty Baker and Mitchell Minnix. He was a field supervisor for A&A Trucks out of Lindsay, OK and loved every moment of it. He was close to his employer, his employees, and called most of his customers “friends”. Ken enjoyed OU football, playing guitar, spending his summers by the pool, hunting, and having friend ‘get togethers’. We love him and we are going to miss him terribly.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Judy of Norman, OK; sons, Dusty Baker of Norman, OK and Mitch Minnix of Colorado Springs, CO; granddaughter, Ira Wade of Fort Colins, CO; grandson, Gibson Minnix of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Harvey Baker and his wife, Koyla, of Des Moines, IA; sisters, Joyce Kramer of Elkton, SD and Jean Landsman of Brookings, SD; and a host of family and friends.
