Jimmie Paul Morris was born December 9, 1943 to Loyal Jack Morris and Mable Ellen (Sartin) Morris in Vinita, OK. He grew up in the Woodward, OK area, graduating in the Class of 1961. His Lord and Savior welcomed him with open arms to his eternal home on October 19, 2020.
Jim and Evelynn Anne (McPherson) were married on January 28, 1973, and had two sons together, Jimmie Paul Morris II and Bart Lafe Morris.
He and Sally Sue (Christian) were married on June 4, 1994 in Elgin, Oklahoma. They built a home together in Norman, OK. He worked his way up in the oil industry and retired in 2015 as an oil consultant. He traveled the world and country in far off locations such as Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, Venezuela, Peru, Texas and Louisiana, plus dozens more.
Jimmie was an avid sports fan. He loved golf, Nascar, Sooners and just enjoyed watching all sports. As a young man, he liked building and racing stock cars. He was a proud member of the Cherokee Indian Nation and a Masonic Lodge member for over 46 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Marshall Moore, Mildred Moore, Fred Moore, Helen (Moore) Wisener, Jackie Keith, Loyale Morris, and Loyal Jack Morris Jr.
He is survived by his wife; Sally, sons; Jimmie Paul Morris II, Bart Lafe Morris, Rob McDonald, David McDonald, grandchildren; Ashe Lafe Morris, Jacob McDonald, Joshua McDonald, Melissa Storm, David McDonald Jr., sister; Billie Bailey, and a host of family and friends.
