Jerry Glenn Steely was born on July 16, 1939 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Roy and Mildred Steely. He passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017, surrounded by love. Jerry grew up in Duncan, Oklahoma and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a graduate and lifetime supporter of The University of Oklahoma. Over the years, he enjoyed his time and work at Kerr McGee and Halliburton, and most recently as the Human Resource Director for the City of Del City until his retirement. Jerry married the love of his life, Angela Baker Steely, on December 9, 1994. Together they lived life to the fullest, traveling the world and enjoying trips with their children and grandchildren. Jerry had a knack for gardening and he loved working in the yard. He was a devoted husband, proud father, and a doting grandfather.
