Jeffrey Dean Young of Moore passed at the age of 52 on June 25, 2019. He was born to Jack Dean and Sharon Kay (Mann) Young on March 27, 1967 at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
On May 9, 1992 Jeffrey married the love of his life, Julie Ann Chasse, in Edmond, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Moore, Oklahoma, where they raised two boys: Austin and Evan Young. Family was everything to Jeffrey, and he never missed an opportunity to spend time with those he loved. Jeffrey was very athletic and passed that trait on to his boys, whom he coached throughout their childhood.
Jeffrey had many passions after his family. He loved the Texas Longhorns, watching movies with his family (especially the midnight premieres of all superhero movies), detailing his cars, and shopping for clothes and Jordan sneakers. He loved visiting the beach with his family and listening to 80’s music. He was very creative and took any opportunity to customize items with a personal touch, an interest he also passed on to his two boys. Jeff had a great sense of humor and was known for his wisecracking one-liners.
Those left to cherish Jeffrey’s memory include wife Julie Young of Moore; sons Austin and Evan Young of Moore; parents Jack and Sharon Young of Oklahoma City; in-laws John and Marylee Chasse of Ormond Beach, Florida; brother Brett Young of Oklahoma City; brother-in-law John Chasse and wife June of Ormond Beach; nephew Joshua Chasse of Ormond Beach; grandmothers Eycile Young of Mustang, Oklahoma and Maxine Mann of Mustang; and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by grandfathers L.D. Young and Everett Mann.
