James Scott Kuchera was born August 28, 1958 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to James Rosso and Nellie Faye Kuchera. He passed from this life on August 1, 2020 and into the loving arms of Jesus Christ.
After graduating from high school, he began a 39 year career with IBM as a Computer Field Engineer until his passing. He married the love of his life, Anita (Willmon) on July 6, 1992 in Levelland, Texas. James and Anita were gifted when they added son, Timothy and Abigail.
James had a big heart (A Servant’s Heart)! He was often referred to as a “Big Kid” because he loved children and they loved him. He could always be found playing kickball with the kids or shooting water guns and throwing water balloons with them. He enjoyed all kinds of music, but was especially fond of “Guardians Of The Galaxy” soundtrack. He loved all sports, especially OU football and was on the church softball team year after year. When his kids were in school he volunteered with the Southmoore Band. James and his wife also volunteered building props and because of his abilities to fix anything he was chosen as a leader for the prop building crew. His finest creation was a large pirate ship.
He is survived by his wife; Anita, son; Timothy of Norman, daughter; Abigail of Oklahoma City, brother; Andy and his wife Tammy of Piedmont, sisters; Deanna McBride and her husband Gary of Edmond, Patti Bundrum and her husband Bobby of Yukon, several aunt’s, uncle’s, nieces and nephews.
