Howard Beason Beaver was born in Chickasha on June 26, 1937 to Homer Bill and Alma Arbell (Adams) Beaver. He passed at his home in Rush Springs on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the age of 79.
Howard made his living driving trucks until his retirement from Grady County District #3 in 1999. After his retirement he spent his time fishing, barbecuing, tinkering with motors, playing the French harp, and spending time with his family. Howard instilled his love of fishing upon his children and his grandson, Jerry. He loved to mow and prided himself on keeping his yard meticulous. Howard was a practical joker and he loved pulling pranks on his friends and family. He was a faithful member of the Family Worship Center in Rush Springs and he was a mason.
The loves of Howard’s life were his wife, Fannie Onita (Boutwell) Beaver, whom he married on November 27, 1958 in Wichita, TX, his children, and his newest great-great-grandchildren, Lilly Grace Rounds and Joshua Michael Howard Beach.
Howard was preceded in death by: wife Fannie; parents Homer and Alma; brothers Homer Lloyd Beaver, Paul Beaver, Anthony Beaver, and Andrew Beaver; and sister Lois Vice.
Howard is survived by: son Howard Deryl Beaver; daughters Rita Austin and Rhonda Vasquez; step-daughter Sherry Richardson; sister Jewel Jantz; grandchildren Jerry Austin, Harmony Winkleblack, Andrea Beaver, and Michelle Beaver; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and his beloved Chihuahua, Tinker Bell.
