Glenna Mae Nance, 93, of Norman, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on the evening of Wednesday, 20 July 2022. She was born in Noble, Oklahoma, Cleveland County, on 2 November 1928 to parents, Clarence Dillard Matlock, and Mary Elsie Turman, both of Tennessee. Glenna was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Doyle Kenneth Motsenbocker and Lynden Dale Nance; brothers, Clarence Turman Matlock, and Royce Aden Matlock; sons-in-law, Joe Vaughn Hyden and Jerry Anderson. Survivors include her daughters, Judith Ann (Motsenbocker) Hyden of Norman, Shelia Gaye (Motsenbocker) Bridges (Thomas) of Missouri; son, Kenneth Rex Motsenbocker (Christine) of Fla.; step-daughter, Dara Nance of Fla.; grandchildren, Kevin Lee Archer (Lori), Kenneth William Archer (Jamie), Christy Lynn Reaves (Travis), Carrie Dawn Lowrie (Brian), Joshua Motsenbocker, Jacob Motsenbocker, Michael and Max Motsenbocker, Sarah Cataldo (Kobe); great grandchildren, Megan Lowrie, Kate Hensley (Seth), Trace Reaves (Anne Claire), Carter Beasley (Brodey), Cooper Reaves, Tate Reaves, Edward Archer, and Trevor, Shasta Holt (Mikey), Haley and Jacob Archer, Savannah and Jared Loving, Mya, and Mia Bridges(twins), Tristen and Emily Guthrie, Amelia and Olivia Gilbow, and Alexander Kenison; numerous step-great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter, Emery Beasley, and one great-great grandson, Harrison Cataldo; and several beloved nephews and nieces.
Glenna was a long-time resident of Norman and worked in the Cleveland County Assessor’s Office for many years. She loved to serve her family, travel and was a Christian by faith.
