Gary Armstrong

Gary Armstrong was born in Coleman, Texas on May 17, 1933 to Wayland & Daisy Armstrong. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on October 5, 2019. He married Ruthie Perry on September 21, 1955 and from this union they had two daughters, Vicki & Kristi. They made their home in Norman in 1967, where Gary worked in oil & gas for 52 years. Gary enjoyed golf, University of Oklahoma football and basketball and watching Rangers Baseball.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents Wayland & Daisy Armstrong, his wife of 57 years Ruth Armstrong, & a brother, Gail Armstrong.
He is survived by his daughter Vicki Hunt & her husband David, of Oklahoma City; his daughter Kristi Pate and her husband John, of Norman; his brother Don Armstrong , Sharman Addy; his sister Betty McBryde, and his sister-in-law Josie Armstrong.
