Frieda Strong

Wilfriede Sieglinde “Frieda” Strong was born February 3, 1936, in Nuremberg, Germany to Fredrich Marx and Anna (Scharf) Marx. She passed away August 27, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Frieda married the love of her life, John William “Bill” Strong in Nuremberg, Germany September 18, 1959. They had two daughters, Jackie and Dana. In 1974, they made Norman, Oklahoma their home.
She was a beautician in Germany, loved to travel, enjoyed floral designing and music but perhaps one of her greatest joys was dancing. Bill and she danced and danced until arthritis sidelined her.
Frieda is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bill of Norman, OK; daughters, Jackie Moss and her husband, Jimmie of Norman, OK, Dana Titkemeyer of Schwabach, Germany; grandsons, Blake Moss and his wife Jill of Gulfport, MS, Derek Moss of Norman, OK, Sven Titkemeyer and his wife Michelle of Allersberg, Germany; granddaughter, Nina Titkemeyer of Roth, Germany; great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Blakely, Brooks, Hadley, Luis, and Chandler, and a host of other family and many friends.
