Edward William Searcy

Edward William Searcy was born December 6, 1930 in Prague, OK to Vernie Marion Searcy and Anna Mercedes (Lynch) Searcy. He passed away on September 3, 2019 at his home in Del City, OK.

Edward started preaching the Gospel at the age of 15. He pastored the Norman Trinity Holiness Church and the Noble Full Gospel Church. Edward worked as a machine operator from Standard Iron retiring in 1992. In addition to attending church Edward loved to travel and go fishing.

Survivors include his wife Reba Searcy of the home; daughter Rhonda Stovall and husband Bobby of OKC, OK; three sons, Rickey Searcy and wife Sharon of OKC, OK, Terry Searcy and wife Becky of Lexington, OK, and Rodney Searcy and wife Melanie of Shawnee, OK; fifteen Grandchildren; 23 Great-Grandchildren; and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Arthur, Melvin and Elmer; six sisters, Hazel, Yvonne, Bernice, Stella, AnaBelle, and Veda.
