Dale M. Dudley

Dale Marion Dudley was born September 6, 1947 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Marion W. and Pauline E. (Rutherford) Dudley. He went to his heavenly home on January 6, 2023.

He married the love of his life Deborah Dudley on December 3, 1973 in Gainesville, Texas. They had a son, Eric and a daughter, Tracy. He enlisted in the Army and the Oklahoma National Guard where he moved through the ranks up to Chief Warrant Officer. Dale was awarded numerous Federal and State Awards and Decorations.

Dale was an avid OU sports fan, especially football and softball. He enjoyed supporting his grandchildren in their activities. He and Debbie were members of CrossPointe Church in Norman. Dale served in the CrossPointe men’s prayer breakfast group where he enjoyed cooking pancakes. Dale really enjoyed being the best husband and taking care of Debbie.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Dale is survived by his wife of 49 years, Debbie of the home; son, Eric Dudley and wife Brandi of Moore; daughter, Tracy Billy and husband Stephen of Noble; grandchildren, Haley Lafleur and husband Grayson, Wyatt Dudley and wife Tamarah, Emery Dudley and Lillian Dudley; sister, Linda Sue Hefner and husband Larry of Moore; nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
