Charles Wayne Dixon of Norman was born on December 18, 1930 in Dill City, Oklahoma to Hurl Charles and Odessa (Bookout) Dixon. He passed at the age of 86 on Monday, March 20, 2017.
Charles grew up in Dill City, graduating from Dill City High School, where he played baseball and basketball. Charles was a “man’s man” who loved working with his hands. He enjoyed all types of fishing and working in his yard. He was an accomplished woodworker, with his preferred tool being the scroll saw.
