Brandon Dewayne Scott

Brandon, 42, of Norman passed away Sunday, June 25th, 2023. He was born January 18, 1981 in Norman, OK to Ricky Douglas Scott and Janice Lee (Harmer) Scott.

He grew up in Muskogee, OK, attended school at Oktaha, OK, received a degree in MIS from Bacone College. Brandon and Morgan were married in 2012. He started working at Hastings Entertainment during college working his way up from Associate to Store Manager. He worked there until Hastings closed. He then went to work as Westlake Ace Hardware as a store manager. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, anything that would get him outside. Brandon also loved to travel and visit any place that was new, especially the beach. He loved baseball and even played through his college years. Brandon's favorite team is the St. Louis Cardinals. He will be most remembered for his heart. He loved deeply and fiercely. Brandon was the calm in the storms, the person who could handle whatever was thrown his way. Even though he was reserved around people, once you broke through his reserved nature, he had a wicked sense of humor and was always down to act silly.

Brandon is survived by his wife Morgan (Kern) Scott; his children Brett Scott (10), Middi Scott (8), and Alaina Scott (3);his parents Rick and Janice Scott; his brother TR Scott, wife Amanda Scott, and son Nolan Scott; his parents-in-law Mark and Sandy Kern; brother-in-law Tim Beier; sister- in-law Amy Nieuwenhuis, husband Jason Nieuwenhuis and their children Jacob Nieuwenhuis and Hannah Nieuwenhuis; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Crossings Community Church, officiated by Michael Milligan with interment following at 3:00PM in Elm Grove Road Cemetery, Muskogee, OK.

Memorials may be made in memory of Brandon to the Tornado Alley Bulldog Rescue or charity of choice.
