Andrea Scott

Andrea Jane Scott (Andi), 43, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday October 19, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

Andi was born on October 29, 1980 in Oklahoma City.

She is survived by her husband Jody Scott, son Jason Johnson, stepson Weston Scott and stepdaughter Brylee Scott of Newcastle, Oklahoma.

Parents Steven and Mary Wiebusch of Moore, in-laws Rodney and Belinda Scott of Checotah, Oklahoma, brother in-law Jeremy (Katelyn) of Buford Georgia, two nephews, and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.

Andi is preceded in death by grandparents, Delbert and Patricia Wiebusch of Harrah, Oklahoma and Robert and Miriam Muir of Del City, Oklahoma.

She graduated in 1999 from Moore High School, Moore, Oklahoma and attended college for several years. During her younger years she enjoyed participating in the sport of volleyball, basketball and softball.

Andi and Jody were married in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on May 6, 2011 and made their home in Newcastle, Oklahoma where they raised their 3 children and were very supportive of their activities that included 4H club and almost every type of sport.

On November 1, 2019, after much prayer and consideration, they officially adopted Jason Johnson to be in their home and Andi always thought of her theme song for this was "Waymaker" by Sinach.

Andi wanted nothing more to be with and care for her family. She enjoyed the outdoors and was able to travel in the US and Canada in the last 2 years of her life. She also enjoyed reading Christian historical fiction, garage sales, thrift stores, cooking, and caring for her pets and barn animals.

Up until her passing she was employed as a front desk administrator by Bobby J. Carmen DDS for a total of 17 years where she developed many close relationships with her coworkers and patients.

Andi's bright smile and energy will be greatly missed so very much by family and friends and all who knew her.
