Alice Marie Rosewitz, 74, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at her home. Alice was born on March 21,1950 in Long Beach, California to Clair Troupe and Alice V. (Miller) Troupe Garland.
Alice graduated Raytown South High School in 1968 and continued her education at St. Luke’s School of Nursing, graduating in 1971. She lived several places after graduation, but ultimately settled in Ponca City, Oklahoma in 1980. On July 17, 1993 she married the love of her life Kenneth (Kenny) Rosewitz in Ponca City. They remained there until 2022, when they relocated to Norman, Oklahoma. Her passion and commitment for helping others led her to a full career of nursing until her retirement in 2013. Alice loved animals, especially her beloved Papillon, Kena. She enjoyed painting, quilting, crocheting and coloring. She was a loving wife, mother and nana.
Survivors include her loving husband Kenneth Rosewitz of the home. Her daughter Tawnya Hauck-Crowder and husband Kurt of Ponca City, OK. Jodi Nodine and husband Noah of Norman, OK; Brad Rosewitz and wife Kassy of Phoenix, AZ and Shawnda Masterson of Weldon, CA. Grandchildren Corbin Crowder and wife Haley, Ashtyn Crowder, Landry Nodine, McKenzie Rosewitz, Joshua Masterson and wife Li and Jacob Masterson. Siblings Fred Troupe of Peculiar, MO and Mike Troupe and wife Jerry of Lee’s Summit, MO, Debbie Goodwin and husband Richard of Walker, MO. As well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and stepmother Betty Troupe.
A memorial service to honor Alice’s life will be held at Ranch Drive Baptist Church on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to attend.
