Thedra Remington

Thedra Remington was born to Willie and Caroline (Stidham) Rodgers on December 28, 1921 in Chickasha, OK. She passed at the age of 95 on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Thedra was a longtime sales clerk at JC Penney after moving back to Chickasha when her husband, Jack, retired from the Air Force. The couple loved to travel and eventually lived in their RV full-time to support their habit.

Thedra was preceded in death by: husband Jack Remington; daughter Janis Postman; brothers Duane “Dee” Rodgers and Durel “Tots” Rodgers; and sister Fian Cannedy.

Thedra is survived by: daughter Patti Sontag and husband Les (deceased) of Elsah, IL; son John Remington of Norman; daughter Jennifer Graves and special friend Bob Fields of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren: Casey Reinking of Sunnyvale, CA, Chris Reinking and wife Cheryl of Los Altos, CA, Carl Reinking of Caballo, NM, Calvin Graves of Denver, CO, Seth Remington of Norman, Dawn Roe and husband Tommie of Ponchatoula, LA, and Bradley Postman of Chickasha; great-grandchildren Remi and Rhys Reinking of Los Altos, CA and Corrine and Annalise Roe of Ponchatoula, LA.
