Robert L. Fowler

Robert L. Fowler, 87, of Norman was born on December 8, 1928 in Oklahoma City, OK to Tom and Bettie (Trimble) Fowler. He passed away September 13, 2016 in Norman.

Robert was the owner of the R. L. Fowler Construction Company in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include his wife, Fran Fowler of 65 years; daughter, Ann Faison and husband Kent; three grandsons, Cullin Faison, Carter Faison and Clay Faison; one great-granddaughter, Madeline Claire and her mother, Katherine Faison.

Robert was preceded in death in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles and Voen; and two sisters, Bettie Ann and Modest Leaf.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the entire staff of doctors, nurses and sitters of Norman Regional Hospital for their professional and tender care of Robert.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 15 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.

The family has requested that memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Norman Memorial Fund (220 S. Webster Ave., Norman, OK 73069) in honor of Robert.
