Linda Leonard was born in Oklahoma City, OK on October 28, 1948 to Paul Charles Dean and Tina Mae (Stean) Dean. She passed away on October 13, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Linda was hardworking, sweet, and personable, traits which helped her succeed in her 40-year career in healthcare before retiring from Deaconess Hospital in 2000. After a hard day of work she enjoyed going to Braum’s for a hamburger and a chocolate butter pecan ice cream Mix with a family member or friend. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and raising her family in a Christian home with a Christian education was paramount. She will be remembered by her friends and family as very caring and loving person.
Survivors include: daughters, Eva Holden and husband Tracy of Joplin, MO and Renee Alexander of Ponca City, OK; brother, Gary Paul Dean and wife Cindy of Choctaw, OK; seven grandchildren, Alisha Anderson, Shania Alexander, Morgan Mize, Kerra Carter, Lauren Carter, Trinity Mize and Jaxon Leonard; three great-grandchildren, Jaylun, Julian and Josiah.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dewey Leonard; daughter, Linda Sue Anderson; and son-in-law, Kerry Carter.
