Leah Marie (Kahue) Buff

Leah Marie Kahue Buff was born on November 15, 1984 at Fort Irwin, California to Warren and Barbara Kahue. She grew up on several military bases including Alaska and Hawaii. She attended Cache High School, in Cache, Oklahoma. In high school she was active in soccer, softball, and cheerleading. She was also prom queen in her senior year. After graduating from high school she received a scholarship to attend Oklahoma City College. During this time she met future husband, Dusty Buff and they were married on August 6, 2005. They both attended Truth Church in Noble, OK. Dusty completed pastoral training and started his own church in Norman, OK called Grace Church. Leah was a gifted singer and led the worship team. She also organized home groups, women's ministries, and events for their church. She accompanied her husband in missions overseas to Honduras. She provided a loving, nurturing home for her family. She was a devoted mother to her four children.

She is preceded in death by son, Gideon Makaio Buff; paternal grandfather, John Kahue; maternal grandparents, Arnold and Helen Locke. Leah is survived by parents, Warren and Barbara Kahue of Cache, OK; husband Dusty Buff and children Lily, Willow, Judah, and Beau of Noble, OK; sisters, Che Kahue Ledbetter of Yukon, OK and Randi Kahue Hobbs of Sulphur, OK and their families; parents in law, David and Paula Buff, and their families; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled for 3:00PM – 8:00PM, Friday, August 3, Tribute Memorial Care Event Center, 708 24th Ave. NW, Norman. A Celebration of Life Service for Leah will be at 1:00PM, Saturday, August 4, Harvest Church 6450 36th Ave. NW, Norman with Pastor Jimmy Smith officiating.
